I can’t believe this is the penultimate technical challenge, we’ve had a lot of fun again this year trying them all out. In particular getting to try things I wouldn’t normally choose to make, the recipes always surprise us. This week was no exception, click here to see how I got on.

The recipe can be found here. I decided we already have so many baked goodies and puddings in the freezer that this week I would halve the recipe and we would have it for pudding when my parents came for lunch, it would be the perfect size for all of us.

I made each bit separately when I had time on Friday and finished it off on Saturday morning. The hardest part was tempering the chocolate, I didn’t have a scraper so getting neat curls was tricky and my acetate was probably too thin and it had some big creases in so it didn’t roll into a cylinder very well. Despite the chocolate tempering, the recipe wasn’t too hard and made for a super delicious pudding!
