I made a cake a couple of years ago with a Jemima Puddle Duck on top for a friends daughters Christening. And a couple of years on I was lucky enough to be asked to make a Christening cake for their second daughter, this time with Peter Rabbit on top. Keep reading to see some more pics of this cute cake.

I love creating things using sugar florist paste, I have made a few bunnies before, but I had never made a Peter Rabbit. So instead of being a cartoon like bunny, this one was much more realistic. I made him from white sugar florist paste and used various brown petal dusts to colour his fur.

I also made some little cabbages and carrots to go next to him. As well as cutting out lots of triangles for the bunting. The cake was simple but perfect for a christening.
