OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERALast year I made my friend Ro a birthday cake. It was huge. So, this year when she invited me to her 30th birthday celebrations, I asked her if I could make her a giant birthday cake again. My mum made the top layer – it was a very rich, fruity, and slightly alcoholic chocolate biscuit cake. I made the middle layer – a biscuit cake which was more similar to rocky road.
