As usual, I struggled to find time to sit down and upload pics of the cakes and baking I’ve been doing. Probably because I’m spending all my time in the kitchen cooking! I keep buying Terry’s Chocolate Oranges to make this recipe, but then we end up eating them and I have to buy more! Chocolate orange is one of my favourite flavours, so I was very excited to see this recipe in Decembers Sainsbury’s magazine, a great recipe to make with the girls too. It’s definitely now one of our Christmas traditions to give our best friends Matt and Beckie a Christmas cake as a Christmas present. On Sunday we finally got around to having Chloe’s Baptism, 2.5 years later than planned due to covid etc. But it was worth the wait, we had a wonderful weekend with family and Godparents. I was asked to create a cake for one of the Mum’s from Chloe’s old pre-school for her new baby daughters Christening. She had several ideas but was undecided on exactly what she wanted.
