I keep buying Terry’s Chocolate Oranges to make this recipe, but then we end up eating them and I have to buy more! Chocolate orange is one of my favourite flavours, so I was very excited to see this recipe in Decembers Sainsbury’s magazine, a great recipe to make with the girls too. I feel like I might be overdoing the gingerbread baking a bit this year! But it’s so Christmassy I can’t resist! I love the idea of popping some gingerbread men into some rocky road, such a fun idea! I made a big batch of gingerbread the other day, so have been using it to make various things including the gingerbread men for this rocky road, it’s so Christmassy and makes the house smell amazing when it’s baking. I can’t believe there are only 10 days till Christmas, I’m not sure where the time has gone! Finally getting round to doing some Christmas baking and really enjoying trying out some new recipes. On Sunday we finally got around to having Chloe’s Baptism, 2.5 years later than planned due to covid etc. But it was worth the wait, we had a wonderful weekend with family and Godparents. I was asked to create a cake for one of the Mum’s from Chloe’s old pre-school for her new baby daughters Christening. She had several ideas but was undecided on exactly what she wanted.
