Before I set up this blog, my sister Becky and I had talked about setting up a blog together. However, due to the fact that we were both too busy and didn’t see each other that often, nothing happened. So just under 2 years ago I decided to go it alone.
A few months ago she said she wanted to join in the blogging fun, and thought it would be a good idea to join mine. Technically she’s no longer a Glover, but she’ll always be my sister and she makes “loverly” cakes too so I’ve agreed to let her join my blogging journey.
She’s my big sister and my best friend. We love baking and cake decorating together but given that we don’t live near each other these baking sessions don’t happen that often anymore. However, we’ve come to a compromise – text-baking! We might not be in the same kitchen, but we’ve discovered that we can bake/cake decorate at the same time and send each other constant text message and photo updates.
We are very alike, especially when it comes to what we like to bake. Therefore you probably won’t notice a difference around here. However, given the change we thought it was time for a revamp! We hope you like the new look.
Since we’re in the same place for a couple of days (massive excitement, we’re like 2 little girls at Christmas!) it’s time to hit the kitchen and get baking….
