Kid’s Birthday cakes are always fun to make, this one however was a little tricky! I had never made a horse before and didn’t really know where to start. I did a lot of research and did a bit of practise and was finally happy with giving it a go, click here to see how I got on.
I had been sent a photo of a small toy horse that is the Birthday boy’s favourite thing to play with, so I had the tough task trying to recreate it, I love a challenge! I opted for a sitting down horse as trying to make a standing one was too tricky.
I made a fence and some extra grass and flowers to add some finishing touches to the cake. The Birthday boy came with his Mum to collect the cake and it was wonderful to see his eyes light up when he saw it!
