
My Christmas baking this year is very gingerbread themed, so here’s another gingerbread recipe I found to try out. Rich and the girls love marshmallows, so this sounded like a winning combination! Click here to find out more.

I saw a picture on Pinterest and looked up the recipe, it can be found here. I didn’t make the marshmallow the same though as I only had leaf gelatin rather than powered gelatin, so I used the recipe from the Bake Off s’mores which I knew worked well and sounded like a similar vanilla version.

The gingerbread flavour was lovely, slightly darker than the usual recipe I use, but still tastes very good. I wasn’t sure how many snowflakes I would need when I made them, next time I would use all small ones or all big ones and make sure that I can slice it without the edges getting in the way as trying to cut through the ends of the snowflakes makes the chocolate crack. But they look and taste great, another scrummy Christmas treat!

I will have to try this as I like anything ginger!
