I was quite relieved that last weeks challenge looked like something easy enough to make with Emily, as she’s very keen to help out in the kitchen! I probably should have watched the challenge more carefully and read a bit more from other people’s blogs who had already attempted the challenge. The dough was so so sticky! Click
Paul’s recipe can be found here. I imagine that although it’s not a tricky bread to make, the time allowed for the bakers to do it in was very tight, there was no way I could manage it with a nearly 3 year old helping, it took us most of the afternoon!
I should think we ended up with slightly smaller naans that we would have done if I had done it on my own, because of the amount of dough that got stuck to Emily’s hands and then to me and then to the work surface as we tried to kneed it and then scrape it all up and put it back into a bowl!
The end result was delicious! I made a pork curry and red lentil dahl for dinner that evening to have with the naan, Emily certainly enjoyed it all too! And the left over naans went in the freezer so we can enjoy them again soon.
