When it was Emily’s second Birthday I made her an Old MacDonald cake as it was her favourite nursery rhyme at the time. So for Chloe’s second Birthday I thought I would do the same and one of her favourites is Incy Wincy Spider. Click here to see this cute cake.
With another lockdown Birthday I decided I didn’t need to make an enormous cake for just the four of us and we still had loads of Emily’s enormous cake in the freezer! So I made a little 5” chocolate cake. I made all the decorations in advance. The cloud and rain drops were made from sugar florist paste and 3 wires were inserted into the bottom of the cloud and the rain drops were stuck on one on each side of the wire using edible glue. The water spout was made from sugar florist paste too and cut to size then left to dry over a rolling pin to keep the shape.
Chloe absolutely loved the cake and so did Emily! We had a really fun day celebrating at home and Chloe just about got the hang of card and pressie opening by the end of the day!
