Halloween week might have been a week early on the GBBO, but we definitely didn’t mind and couldn’t wait to make the s’mores! Rich and the girls love marshmallows and I haven’t made any for ages, so perfect excuse! Keep reading to see how amazing these are.

Paul’s recipe can be found here. We ended up with about twice as many biscuits, but homemade biscuits don’t last long in our house, so always happy to have extra. We didn’t have the right pattern stamp for the biscuits, so I used a cooling rack to make a similar pattern on top.

I also couldn’t get hold of any corn syrup so used some glucose syrup and some golden syrup which worked perfectly. The mixture made so much marshmallow and I was a bit sad to see on the recipe that it said to discard the trimmings. Not sure why you would discard all the amazing homemade marshmallows off cuts, we filled a whole box with them which we are now enjoying. The s’mores were absolutely amazing and such a fun thing to make!

I’m not a smores fan. They are too gooey for me, and I never liked them on graham crackers. I think that I will give them a try using this recipe for sure.
Yours look just as good as those on the show. Congrats, you are Star Baker!
