
I had just enough time on Sunday evening to attempt this weeks technical challenge and make these for pudding. A traditional steamed sponge and custard was definitely the perfect comfort food for this time of year. Click here to see how I got on.

The recipe has 3 eggs in and serves 6 people, so it was very easy to just make 2 puddings, we definitely didn’t need 6! The recipe can be found here. The syrup was the hardest bit to make, but definitely worth it. It was delicious with the caramelised sugar and then cooking it down with the lemon in till it was lovely and syrupy. And you can’t beat homemade Crème Anglaise!
