Bread week is always one of my favourites on bake off, I love seeing what the bakers make and getting inspired to bake or invent something new. I really wanted to make a monkey bread too, but ran out of time so settled for the glazed ring donuts. Click here to see how we got on.
The recipe can be found here. I tried to get them made with the girls in between cooking dinner and watching Strictly, it was a bit chaotic and they over proved slightly because we were eating when they needed to be fried!
We got them done eventually and they were worth the wait, you really can’t beat fresh donuts. We even had them for breakfast on Sunday too!
