I love combining recipes or using them in a slightly different way, so when I saw the cover recipe on November’s Sainsbury’s Magazine for chocolate lebkuchen I thought they would be perfect to turn into ice cream sandwiches and decorate them as Christmas puddings! Click here to see the recipe.

I always try to make the girls teachers and teaching assistants some cupcakes for Christmas, this year I bought some mini candy canes and decided to use those to decorate the cupcakes with. And of course they had to be candy cane flavoured cupcakes too. Click here to keep reading.

It was Chloe’s 5th Birthday at the end of November and once again she was very specific about the cake she wanted! She chose a bunny design with pink, blue and purple flowers and requested the bake off chocolate fudge cake with some salted caramel between each layer – good choice Chloe! Finally got round to doing the last bake off technical challenges at the weekend, everyone was a bit unsure about this one, but it was delicious, the homemade candied orange was amazing. It was a cross between puff pastry and a sticky fruited bun. Click here to see how I got on.
