There was so much drama in biscuit week in the bake off! We also had our own drama at home with a sick bug from school that was doing the rounds and put a stop to all our plans, so these were made in a bit of a rush on Sunday afternoon. Click here to keep reading.
The girls helped measure out the ingredients and make the biscuit dough as well as the ingredients for the peppermint cream filling and of course the chocolate for coating them. The recipe can be found here.
The biscuits baked really nicely and held their shape well. The peppermint creams warmed up very quickly once they were out of the freezer and were very sticky to handle. But the messiest part was coating them in chocolate! We didn’t manage to temper the chocolate unfortunately as it was such a rush, but despite being a bit of a mess they were absolutely delicious!
