We were all very excited for the start of the new series of the Great British Bake Off last week. And even more excited when we found out the technical challenge was the iconic chocolate cake with the missing raspberry! As usual, I struggled to find time to sit down and upload pics of the cakes and baking I’ve been doing. Probably because I’m spending all my time in the kitchen cooking! I keep buying Terry’s Chocolate Oranges to make this recipe, but then we end up eating them and I have to buy more! Chocolate orange is one of my favourite flavours, so I was very excited to see this recipe in Decembers Sainsbury’s magazine, a great recipe to make with the girls too. I feel like I might be overdoing the gingerbread baking a bit this year! But it’s so Christmassy I can’t resist! It’s definitely now one of our Christmas traditions to give our best friends Matt and Beckie a Christmas cake as a Christmas present.
