We were very much looking forward to bread week! We eat a lot of bread in our house, I bake bread anywhere between 2-6 times a week. Up until a few years ago I rarely made bread as Rich didn’t really eat gluten so had had very little bread making experience. It’s suddenly started feeling very autumnal! My favourite time of year, I’m definitely looking forward to making more comfort food dinners and bakes. This week was biscuit week on the GBBO and we really enjoyed the episode. I loved the idea of making a biscuit mask and might try it one day with the girls, I think they would really enjoy decorating their own masks. Several months before Chloe’s 3rd Birthday she suddenly announced one morning that she wanted a panda Birthday cake. She’s always loved pandas, just like Emily and her favourite cuddly toy is a panda too. But we hadn’t really talked about Birthday cakes and I don’t think she knew that Emily had a panda cake for her 3rd Birthday too! Over the summer we took the girls to see The Jungle Book at the open air theatre at Hever Castle, Emily absolutely loved it and decided she wanted a Jungle Book themed party for her 6th Birthday.
